The Viva La Vida Festival will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022. The parade will be from 12:00pm - 1:00pm (set-up from 6:00am - 12:00pm; Noon) and the Festival from 12:00pm - 6:00pm. We will need volunteers from 6am-10pm, depending on volunteer position and shift time preferences.

We are looking for the following:

EDUCATION VOLUNTEERS will help teach both children and adults an array of art activities during the festival; these activities will run from 12:00pm - 6:00pm.

PARADE PROCESSION VOLUNTEERS will help with setting up and carrying forth the parade. The procession will march down historic 6th Street and end at 4th Street and Congress Avenue, marking the transition from the afternoon to the exciting evening portion of the street festival. The set-up time for the parade will be from 6am - 12:00pm, with the parade running from 12:00pm - 1:00pm. Parade volunteers will meet at the parade staging area at 6:00am.

INFORMATION VOLUNTEERS will help with the information booth during the festival hours from 12pm - 6pm.

GENERAL FESTIVAL VOLUNTEERS will help with the general festival duties including setting up and loading down equipment and props, hanging up decorations, and any other help needed throughout the day. This is the area that requires the most early morning and late night assistance. Volunteers will be needed all throughout the day, from 6:00am - 12:00am; midnight.
