Writing Day is modeled after the concept of sprints, which are common in open-source conferences. The main premise is to get a bunch of interesting people in a room together and have them work towards shared goals.

Here are some examples of projects people, groups, and OSS communities have brought to previous events.

We divide Writing Day into two sessions, morning and afternoon. It's useful for attendees to know how long you plan to attend the event.

If you're interested in having your project or volunteers tagged social media posts leading up to the conference, enter your social media handles. We mostly use Twitter and LinkedIn.
