I am pleased that you have shown an interest in participating in this year’s event, and I would be delighted if you decided to put an entry into the procession.

I would like to stress now that we can offer you a FREE lorry and a driver for the day should you wish so, you just need to bring the enthusiasm and creativity.  You can enter as a motorised float, or walking party, or both, but please note that your walking party will be treated as a separate entry and will not be permitted to accompany any motorised float for health and safety reasons.

We can provide all relative entries, as part of your application, a build site for you to prepare on the morning of the Carnival and dismount after the event.

If you wish to enter your own vehicle you may do so but will be responsible for your own driver and your own build site.

Please note that there will be a compulsory Procession meeting in June 2024, the details of which will be sent out in the New Year.  This will be an “all you need to know about the day” meeting and failure to attend could lead to the removal of your involvement in the big event.

Please complete the following form clearly and in capital letters.  Completed entry forms should be addressed to me and forwarded to Andover Carnival, c/o 8 Lingen Close, Andover, SP10 4LS.  Alternatively they can be emailed to carnivalkev@hotmail.com.  Please note that payment for entry is as follows:

Walking entry = Free of charge

Charity/Not-for-Profit Organisation/School = £30 ENTRY

Business = £60 ENTRY

Payment can be made with postal applications through a cheque made out to Andover Carnival or via BACS for electronic applications.  BACS payments can be made to NatWest Account Number 29806364 with sort code 60-05-24 with the prefix PR24 and then your organisation name as the entry title please.  Please note these fees are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled.

The closing date for receipt of applications to enter this event is Friday 31st May 2024.
