President/Presidente: The president will provide leadership to the committee, and set the meeting agendas in consultation with the school principal or his/her designee. The president must be an English Language Learner parent with a child in attendance at that school. / El presidente proporcionará liderazgo al comité y establecerá las agendas de las reuniones en consulta con el director de la escuela o su designado. Vice-President/Vicepresidente: Will assist the President in the planning and organization of meetings and activities of the committee, and function as President in his/her absence./ Ayudará al presidente en la planificación y organización de reuniones y actividades del comité, y funcionará como presidente en su ausencia

Secretary/ Secretario: Works in collaboration with the school site coordinator. Records the minutes of the meetings, making sure to include any actions voted upon. Retains a roster of the committee members, registers the attendance at each meeting using the sign-in sheet, and communicates the meeting schedule to parent members./ Trabaja en colaboración con el coordinador del sitio escolar. Parliamentarian/Parlamentario: Advises the president and other officers, committees and members on matters of parliamentary procedure. The parliamentarian’s role during a meeting is an advisory and consultative one. He/she assist the orderly conduct of the business meeting, and answers procedural questions that may come up from time to time. The Parliamentarian should be familiar with Robert’s Rules of Order./ Asesora al presidente y otros funcionarios, comités y miembros sobre asuntos de procedimiento parlamentario. El papel del parlamentario durante una reunión es de asesoramiento y consulta. Él / ella asiste en la conducción ordenada de la reunión de negocios y responde las preguntas de procedimiento que puedan surgir de vez en cuando. El parlamentario debe estar familiarizado con las Reglas de orden de Robert.
