Personal Device Guidelines and Infractions must be reviewed with Parents, Guardians and Students annually to be in compliance with ASA and ASD policy. Thank you for taking the time to talk about this with your child(ren).

Personal Device Guidelines

Students are welcome to bring personal laptops, Chromebooks or tablets for school use at the discretion of the classroom teacher. Devices shall be off and away unless directed by the teacher.

Use of cell phones during the school day is PROHIBITED in order to foster interpersonal communication, reduce distractions, eliminate common discipline and classroom management issues, and minimize cyber-bullying. Please do not expect your child(ren) to see your text during school hours.

Please check each box to indicate you understand these policies and have discussed them with your child. *

All cell phones will be kept OFF AND AWAY DURING THE DAY, including passing times, lunch and restroom breaks.

I/We understand that teachers will clearly inform students when technology use is allowable, and for what purpose.

I/We understand that personal devices connected to the internet must use ASD INTERNET ONLY and may not connect to the Wayland Baptist University guest portal.
