Each team will receive a card with their name on it at check in
Teams will be given 5 min. to report to their board when called to play. Team(s) that fail to report will forfeit their game and their opponents will receive the win
Winners of each match will put their card into the ‘Next Round’ box
At the end of the round, all winners in the ‘Next Round’ box will be transferred to ‘Current Round’ box and opponents drawn again
In the event that the two teams drawn have the same player on each, the second team pulled will be redrawn
This will repeat until there is a winner
Game Setup
27 feet between the front of each board (21 ft. for Juniors)
Board should be directly across from one another – No offsets
2 players per team
4 bags per team
Game Play
The team drawn first from the ‘Current Round’ box will pitch first
Teams alternate pitching bags until all 8 have been pitched constituting an inning
The team that scored the last inning will pitch first the next inning
If the inning is a draw, the team that pitched second the last inning will pitch first the next inning
Players may use either side of the board to pitch
A side is not “owned” by a team and must be shared if requested
Scoring
Net Scoring – Add each team's points and the higher score gets the difference
Speed Scoring – Add each team’s points to their score without differentials
First team to reach 21 points or more at the end of the round wins – No penalty for going over 21
1 point – On the board at the completion of the inning
3 points – Through the hole completely
Bags that hit the ground before the board are disqualified and must be removed
Bags hanging on the front edge are allowed if the stay on while lifting front only
In the event of a disagreement or situation occurring that is not covered in these rules, a tournament director should be consulted and their decision will be final.
