Pride Parade Interest and Volunteer Survey
The Salt Lake Buddhist Fellowship will be participating in the Utah Pride Parade on Sunday, June 4th 2023! We have a few immediate volunteer needs, and we also need to know how many people will be in our group, as well as contact info so that we can send out the full details for parade day.

We will need two crowd control volunteers. They will walk ahead of our group and encourage crowd members to move behind the green spectator line. Crowd control volunteers are not required to attend one of the parade orientation meetings in person, but it could be helpful. The meetings will take place at the Utah Pride Center at 1380 S Main, Salt Lake City:
Saturday May 20, 12pm-1pm
Tuesday May 23, 3pm-4pm
Tuesday May 23, 6:30pm-7:30pm
Saturday, May 27, 11am-12pm

Also, we want to make sure that the parade is accessible to everyone who wants to participate, including folks who aren't able to walk the full parade route. We need to know how many people might need to ride in a vehicle, and then we'll need two or three people who can volunteer to bring a vehicle and drive it in the parade. We're dreaming of open-air vehicles for the full enjoyment of those who will be riding, e.g. convertibles, pedicabs, motorcycle and sidecar, etc.
