What Drives Us to Become Parents?

This form is part of a personal project that comes from a question I often ask myself:
Do we make our most important decisions because we’ve truly thought them through… or simply because it’s what’s always been done?

One of those decisions is having children. Sometimes it seems so natural or expected that we don’t stop to reflect on the reasons behind it. Is it a personal desire? A tradition? Something that just feels like the next step?

Through this form, I want to hear different points of view: from people who have chosen to have children and from those who haven’t. I’m interested in what feelings, ideas, or experiences shape that choice, and whether it comes from reflection, habit, love, fear… or a bit of everything.

There are no wrong answers. I want to hear all kinds of responses: short or long, clear or confused, even contradictory. Everything you share, as long as it’s honest, has value.

I’m not here to judge, only to listen.

Thank you for sharing a piece of how you see the world!
