Servant leader Hours K-4
Elementary Parents,

As your child completes their 4 hours of service (each semester), please fill out this form.  We will be able to track which students have completed their 4 hours (each semester) by looking at this form.  Your child needs to complete a total of 8 hours in the course of a school year (in K-4) to fulfill our servant leader requirement.

Per the Student Handbook:
Servant Leader Learning Projects
Students are expected to complete a designated number of hours of service learning each semester. In grades K-4, students will complete four hours. These hours can be fulfilled through a variety of projects, and some may be coordinated by the school or individual classes. General chores, such as household chores or other tasks a student is normally expected to complete at home, do not count toward the four hours of service learning each semester.

Examples for service-learning credit can include:
*  Helping a neighbor or friend.
*  Pet sitting
*  Serving meals to those less fortunate.
*  Volunteering with any organizations with which they or their families are affiliated (e.g.,
philanthropic organizations, churches, hospitals, etc.).
*  Participating in school-wide drives or campaigns for organizations like Frisco Family Services.
