Please sign up to indicate your interest in participating in the CDL book discussion. In "Small Teaching Online: Applying Learning Science in Online Classes,” the authors write: "the concept of small teaching is simple: small and strategic changes have enormous power to improve student learning."  The book offers small teaching strategies that will positively impact the online classroom. It includes current best practices around educational technologies, strategies to build community and collaboration, and minor changes you can make in your online teaching practice, small but impactful adjustments that result in significant learning gains.

The Spring 2022 book discussion is open to all. Sessions will be held remotely using a video conferencing platform. Individuals are welcome to participate in only one session, all sessions, or any number in between. Each session will provide a brief recap and will focus on one of the major sections of the book. Information on obtaining the book is available at the end of this form.
