The first SignLight Creative Arts Camp will be held Saturday, August 6th 8:00am-5:30pm at California School for the Deaf Riverside in the Multi-purpose Activity Center. This camp will expose students to creating rhythms through dance and drumming, developing painting skills, jumping into acting, and creating drawings and ASL storyboards. All the instructors are professional, fun, and talented Deaf artist. We are promoting a signing-friendly space, so all Deaf, hard of hearing, DeafBlind, and signing hearing (CODA, SODA, GODA) high school students are welcomed to attend. The camp is FREE, but registration is required by Friday, July 29th. Space is limited!!!
This camp is being sponsored by California School for the Deaf Riverside and SignLight. SignLight is a nonprofit organization dedicated to trainings and providing opportunities for deaf and hard of hearing artists to learn, grow, and share their artistic talents.
