GISD Fall 2020 Survey
We are so excited to open school on August 19th! While we are awaiting final decisions from our State on what re-opening will look like, we would like to gather some feedback from our school community about this upcoming year including your comfort level with attending under different scenarios. The feedback collected from this survey will help us to be informed and prepared as we make decisions that are best for our students’ educational experiences and the health of our students, employees, families, and community.

Thoughts / Comments related to health / safety protocols:
One option that has been proposed by TEA is to shift to an Intersessional Calendar to plan for sporadic, short-term closures. This is an extended year calendar (August 3 to June 23) that includes extended breaks throughout the year. PS - We will NOT be shifting to this for 2020-21; this is to gather thoughts for the future.
