#ASAP4theFuture: Share your story to save CUNY ASAP!
For years, CUNY's Accelerated Study in Associate Program (ASAP) has provided students with the academic and financial supports they need to graduate — from individualized counseling, to a monthly MetroCard for every ASAP student. Research shows the program works: CUNY ASAP students graduate at rates double that of their peers.

Last month, NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio released his city budget plan, which calls for a $20-million cut to CUNY ASAP. For incoming students, these cuts would mean a year without the critical supports ASAP provides. After a semester upended by COVID-19, the last thing students need is a cut to a program that addresses the real challenges students face in college.

Are you a CUNY student or alumni who benefited from the CUNY ASAP program? Are you a counselor who has seen the impact CUNY ASAP has on your students? Please tell your story below. Young Invincibles will share your stories with NYC leaders to urge them to save ASAP! #ASAP4theFuture
