Jazz for ALL Ages: The Art of Improvisation
During this 7-day workshop presented by internationally recognized Orff practitioner and jazz musician Doug Goodkin, participants will engage with the vernacular of jazz and jazz theory through active music making and improvisation. Students will use classroom instruments, their own wind, string, or percussion instruments, and the voice. Participants 18 and up of any musical ability are welcome! Thanks to CECA (Center for Excellence in the Creative Arts), the workshop is FREE of CHARGE and will take place in the Memorial Health Building Dance Studio B on the APSU campus in Clarksville.
