Thank you for your interest in the Lakeland Advanced Sport Science & Touch Football (LASST) program.
The LASST program has been developed to foster students creativity and critical thinking skills.
The aim of this program is to provide children with the necessary tools to elevate themselves, our slogan underpins all that we do; Empowering Athletes, Igniting Futures.
Our curriculum is designed to meet the highest educational standards while fostering athleticism, leadership, and teamwork. We provide exclusive resources, expert instructors, and a supportive community. The real world application approach to unpacking lab-work sets us apart from any other program.
The following selection process will apply:
1. There are 18 positions fo r each year allocated, extra applicants then will be put onto a reserve
waiting list.
2. All applicants will be notified in writing if they are approved.
3. All applicants referees and recommendations will be cross referenced to ensure each student is deemed suitable for the program.
Successful applicants will be required to participate fully in the program including after hours activities such as field data collection, athlete assessment and competitions. Should an out-of-boundary student withdraw from this program, or not achieve at the required level of performance, his/her enrolment in the LASST Program will be reviewed depending on Academic/Behaviour whilst in the program.
