1. In 1 or 2 sentences, please share your chosen topic. You may also phrase it as a question.
2. List one or two related questions you will need to research and answer in order to address your research question or topic.
3. Now list a few search terms or keywords that you think may help you discover sources of information to help answer your questions or support your research. These may be words or phrases.
4. Try these search terms out on Google.  What kinds of sources did you find?  You can share URLs, citations or other info here.  Do any of them look useful?  Do you see drawbacks to any of them?
5. Now take a look at Northwestern University Library's research guides at https://libguides.northwestern.edu/index.php. Choose 1-2 subject areas that seem like they might contain materials relevant for your topic.  From each subject area, select 1-2 databases and use your keywords (or variations) to conduct a search.  In the space below, list the following...  The subject areas you looked at; The databases you used; The 3 most useful sources you found.
6. Do you feel you have had a successful start to your search?  Is there information you still need?
