Apply to mentor and collaborate with Philly youth musicians! (virtual volunteer opportunity)
Rock to the Future (RocktotheFuture.org) is a nonprofit located in Philadelphia that provides student-driven music programs in a safe and supportive environment at no cost for Philadelphia youth. We are seeking musicians who want to give back to their community.

Please fill out this form by December 20th, once confirmed you will be paired with a Philly student and meet with them virtually each Wednesday from 5 - 6pm, Jan 3, 2022 - Mar 25, 2022.  Over 12 weeks, you will collaborate through Soundtrap and/or use live instruments and create an original piece of music for a final project. A weekly zoom meeting link will be sent to you among confirmation.

You have a lot of experience and expertise, and this is an incredible opportunity to mentor and collaborate with teen musicians. You must commit to participating in each session and there may be some creative prep work needed between sessions. All volunteers will complete required background checks, which Rock to the Future will help facilitate and pay for. Selected volunteers will be contacted by December 21st and an orientation will be held January 3rd, 2022.
