This is your time to shine! Submit your work—insane comedies, touching dramas, high-energy music videos, odd animation, hot topic documentaries, neighborhood portraits, and any mind-expanding experimental visions. *Chicago Filmmakers reserves the right to refuse inappropriate and defamatory submissions.

The next Open Screening will be at 7PM on Saturday, March 9, 2024

*All digital submissions must be sent to Chicago Filmmakers at least ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE in order to be included within the Open Screening programming. Digital files must not exceed 5 GB in size. Accepted formats: .mp4 and .mov.  Please submit a Vimeo link and password, and make sure video is downloadable. If that is not an option, please email coop@chicagofilmmakers.org for alternatives.

The deadline for digital submissions for the next Open Screening is 7PM on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.

*Filmmakers with work already available on BluRay or DVD may present their film/s to the projectionist on the day of the screening. Please specify the format in the form below.

Maximum length per person is 20 minutes.

All filmmakers submitting work must be in attendance at the Open Screening and will be required to sign in.
