Seeking tales of derring-do, mystical baubles, impending disasters, notable rapscallions, deathtraps, etc. THE BIRD OF PASSAGE is a quarterly zine published in Denver, Colorado featuring inspiring new works in collaborative storytelling. We are seeking to publish works by and for a progressive and intersectional audience. Traditional and well-worn tropes (especially as they pertain to gender, race, ability, and class) are politely declined. We want tales that defy expectation and avoid the easy out. And, yes, we want to pay you for them.
