Hockey Registration Years 1-8 Summer Season 2022
Please Note:   
  • Season Duration from 31 Oct to 12 Dec (Metro Park), 7 weeks 
  • Summer league is games only no practises, unless organised by your teams manager/coach
  • Y1-2 need a parent helper on the field, there is NO COACH for this level 

Year 1-2, 15 minutes of basic skills training with your team and then 15 minute game (with a 2-minute break)
One adult on the field, played on 1/8 of the field 

Year 3-6, 30 min games (2 x 13 minutes half) with 1 minute halftime.:
  • Year 3-4 6 aside hockey & one adult on the field, played on the field 1/4 of the field (Metro Park)
  • Year 5-6 6 aside hockey, played on the field 1/4 of the field (Metro Park)

Year 7/8, 30 min games (Albany):
  • Maximum of 6 players on 1/2 turf – No goalkeepers
  • The game duration is 30 minutes (2 x 13 minutes half) with a 1-minute halftime.
  • Junior Hockey 6 aside 1/2 turf rules apply (see below)
Mixed teams will be made where numbers are short to form a full boys or girls side only.  
Players may play up a year level where possible for exposure for next years competition league. 

Please Register before Friday 16th September.
Fees will be set once teams have been confirmed.
