I will not hold the groomer responsible or liable in the event grooming reveals a pre-existing condition, which may need to be treated before grooming can commence.
I understand the groomer will do their best to follow my requests and/or instructions, but in certain situations more or less may need to be cut than was requested, e.g. because of matting or knots.
In some instances of significant matting, especially where it is interfering with the pet's comfort and/or making it difficult to groom without injuring the pet, we may determine that shaving is the only safe option for the pet. In this case, we would call to get your permission before any shaving is done.
I understand if fleas are found on my pet, the groomer will need to give them a flea bath at my expense.
I understand a muzzle may be used if necessary. Muzzling protects both the pet and groomer and can often calm stressed animals.
I understand having my pet groomed carries some risk. Although the utmost care is taken to prevent injury, grooming instruments can be sharp and accidents can occur such as nicks, cuts, scratches, piercing, etc. We will inform you of any incident, no matter how small, and if necessary we will transport your pet to their vet for further care. I understand veterinary bills caused by serious matting, pre-existing conditions, aggressive or difficult temperament, or from the pet being elderly, are my responsibility.

No responsabilizaré al peluquero en caso de que el aseo revele una condición preexistente, que puede necesitar ser tratada antes de que pueda comenzar el aseo.
Entiendo que el peluquero hará todo lo posible para seguir mis solicitudes y/o instrucciones, pero en ciertas situaciones es posible que deba cortarse más o menos de lo solicitado, por ejemplo: debido a esteras o nudos.
En algunos casos de enredos significativos, especialmente cuando interfiere con la comodidad de la mascota y/o dificulta el aseo sin lesionar a la mascota, podemos determinar que el afeitado (rasurar) es la única opción segura para la mascota. En este caso, llamaríamos para obtener su permiso antes de que se afeite.
Entiendo que si se encuentran pulgas en mi mascota, el peluquero deberá darle un baño antipulgas a mi cargo.
Entiendo que se puede usar un bozal si es necesario. El bozal protege tanto a la mascota como al peluquero y, a menudo, puede calmar a los animales estresados.
Entiendo que acicalar a mi mascota conlleva cierto riesgo. Aunque se tiene el máximo cuidado para evitar lesiones, los instrumentos de aseo pueden estar afilados y pueden producirse accidentes como muescas, cortes, arañazos, pinchazos, etc. Te informaremos de cualquier incidencia, por pequeña que sea, y si es necesario llevaremos a tu mascota a su veterinario para su posterior atención. Entiendo que las facturas veterinarias causadas por enredos graves, condiciones preexistentes, temperamento agresivo o difícil, o por la edad avanzada de la mascota, son mi responsabilidad.
