After blowing up off of ‘Pine and Ginger’ in 2017, Jamaican-American singer Amindi signed to Big Beat Records, a subsidiary of Warner Music Group. It was a “frustrating couple of years” which she left behind in 2020. Independently, she has continued to release tuneful, spaced-out bedroom pop.
