Crescent High School Online Courses - 2022-2023

Crescent High School students have an AMAZING opportunity for the 2022-2023 school year! Students are able to select ONE online course.

How awesome it is that STUDENTS get to select a course for themselves?! We believe in offering NEW opportunities to students while preparing them for life after high school. Most colleges now offer online courses, and we want our students to be prepared! Whether students go to college after high school or not, this opportunity helps students learn in new and exciting ways!

What you need to know:
• Courses are taught by CERTIFIED TEACHERS ONLINE.
• Pearson courses enable students to take courses never before offered at CHS!
• Students now have more VOICE and CHOICE in their high school course selection.
• Students will take the course AT SCHOOL in a CLASSROOM and will be SUPERVISED by Crescent High School staff.
• Staff will be available to help with any technology issues.
• Students WILL receive high school credit for successfully completing the course.

Military Careers: learn how the military works, five military branches, and examine jobs

Mythology and Folklore: explore how these compelling tales continue to shape society

Music Appreciation: aesthetic and historical perspective of music, covering a variety of styles and developments from the Middle Ages through the 21st century.

Law and Order: study the creation and application of laws, workings of our court system, and how laws are carried out.

Sports Management: explore sports marketing, branding, ticket sales, media relations, and ethics.

Coding: learn how to create and build website, data collection methods, access rights, protocols, and security

Statistics: learn how to display, describe, and understand data and data validity
