The school will:• Provide high-quality curriculum and instruction in a supportive and effective learning environment that enables all students to meet the South Carolina College and Career Readiness Standards (SCCCRS),• Hold parent-teacher conferences during which this compact will be discussed as it relates to the individual child’s achievement,• Provide parents with frequent reports on their child’s progress,• Provide parents reasonable access to staff in person, virtually, and via phone, and/or email,• Provide parents opportunities to volunteer and participate in their child’s class and to observe classroom activities (as allowable with Covid-19 safety precautions),• Ensure that information related to school, parenting programs, meetings, and other activities sent to parents are done so in a format and language the parents understand,• Provide materials and training to parents to work with their children to improve their child’s achievement, such as literacy training, use of school technology and software, and appropriate and safe use of technology, and• Provide all parents with access to fully participate in school activities including students who are classified as homeless, foster-care, military dependent and/or migrant
