Nursery and Pre-school Application form for Cranbrook Education Campus

This form is for completion by the Parent/Guardian of every child before they have been allocated a place at Cranbrook Education Campus Early Years Unit. Once you have been allocated a space we will ask you to fill in an information form before your child starts. We have three classrooms allocated for our Early Years children. We have a classroom for the 2/3 year old's and then two classrooms for the 3/4 year old's. We are open term time only and have an intake of new children in September, January and April, if spaces are available. We allocate sessions to children who have been on our waiting list the longest. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to allocate all the sessions you require due to current numbers. We will do our best to offer you some of the sessions you need or you may have to wait until the next intake. Please complete the application from below. You will be contacted once we have received the completed form and we will let you know when your child is able to start in the Nursery or Pre-school.

Funding details

2-year-old funding: Parents must check their eligibility for the entitlement to Early Years Funding for their 2-year-old.  Parents will need their National Insurance number, date of birth, name and child’s details.  Eligibility can be checked on https://www.devon.gov.uk/educationandfamilies/early-years-and-childcare/childcare/2-year-old-funding/

3–4-year-old 15 hour funding: All 3 and 4-year-olds are eligible for the Early Years Funding starting from the term after their third birthday until they start school (usually at statutory school age – the term following their fifth birthday).

Extended Entitlement (30-hour funding): Some working parents of 3- and 4-year-olds are entitled to up to 1,140 hours of funded early years provision across the year (30 hours per week term time).  To apply please visit: https://www.gov.uk/help-with- childcare-costs/free-childcare-and-education-for-2-to-4-year-olds
