AMBayArea / BACC: Volunteers Registration
Dear Skilled Trades, Manufacturing, and Engineering Volunteers,
Thanks for your interest in connecting with educators & students. The Bay Area Community Colleges and AMBayArea are working to help students learn more about opportunities in the skilled trades, manufacturing and engineering so that we can interest more students to enter these fields.

If you work in one of those areas, and would like to help out, here are some possibilities:

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

At the school:
 - Classroom SPEAKERS (up to 1 hour) - in-person or online
 - JUDGES for competitions
 - Industry ADVISORY BOARDS
 - Table at a CAREER FAIR / INFO SESSION
 - MENTORING at school site (robotics team, science project, etc.)
 - Provide EQUIPMENT / SUPPLIES

At your facility:
 - Student group VISITS your facility (1 - 1.5 hours)
 - INTERNSHIPS for students
 - Teacher EXTERNSHIPS at your facility

To get started, we ask that you sign-up below. When done you'll get a link to our Volunteer Match website. You'll be able to browse and see teacher requests - and then reach out to those you're interested in.

And if you opt in, we'll make your information available to the teachers and they can also reach out to you. Again, this will be opt-in only.

Thanks for your time!
