Students in the music theory and analysis courses of Professors August Sheehy and Judy Lochhead will engage in conversation with composer and improviser Tyshawn Sorey, MacArthur grant winner and Presidential Professor of Music at the University of Pennsylvania. Part of the Fall 2020 “Pressing Matters” Series.

This is a Zoom event. Registration is required and you must have a Stony Brook e-mail address to participate in this event. Entrance and/or removal of participants from the lecture/meeting room will be at the discretion of HISB.
