Thank you for your interest in the Pre-College Research Institute! There are three avenues to get involved with PCRi with different time commitments.
PCRi Team Member: 2-4hrs/week (3-month internship)
Our intercollegiate team is composed of 30+ undergraduate and graduate students across the US divided into six committees. Look at our Open Board Positions document and include below what positions you are most interested in and why you are qualified.
Guest Speaker: 1hr commitment
Speak to one of our PCRi classes about your research backgrounding experiences, teach them a skill, give a lecture, or anything else research-related. Please specify which PCRi course you are interested in speaking to and what the topic of your talk will be.
Research Mentor: 5hr commitment
Mentor an FGLI high school student through their development of an original research proposal. Mentors meet with their mentee a total of 4 times in 2 weeks for an hour. We are looking for professionals with extensive research experience.
