CAEP Three-Year Plan 2025-2028 Guidance -- Directors’ & Members’ Survey

CAEP TAP is gathering feedback on the CAEP 2022-2025 Three-Year Plan process and on how the upcoming 2025-2028 Three-Year Plan process might be improved. Recommendations on how to improve various aspects of the Three-Year Plan and the process are invited throughout this survey. The survey should be completed by CAEP directors and representatives of CAEP consortium leads and voting members.

The feedback and recommendations that are gathered from this survey will help guide the CAEP Office as they update and release new guidance and support for the Three-Year Planning process. They will also help identify the technical assistance and professional development that will make this a successful experience. CAEP TAP will work closely with the Chancellor’s Office and California Department of Education, as well as CAEP vendors, to address the feedback and recommendations identified in the survey and to organize additional opportunities for field feedback as we move forward.

The Three-Year Planning process is legislatively required as part of the assurances that are acknowledged annually in the CFAD. Successful submission of the Three-Year and Annual Plans is required to receive CAEP funding. The CAEP Office uses these Plans to report required data/outcomes for each CAEP consortium to the legislature.
