The Educational Council would like your feedback on two topics. The first is related to the resources we've provided to support teaching during the pandemic. The second is regarding SICB's Research and Education Resources Library (RER), which is being reconfigured and updated to better serve the SICB community. The Ed Council helped support teaching during the pandemic by starting a database of online teaching resources, supporting a guest lecuturer database, and organizing teaching circles. Are there any other resources we could provide for teaching during the current pandemic?
Currently, the RER is a mix of teaching and research resources that doesn't get much use. We would like to know what kinds of items you would like to see in a collection of resources on the SICB website. Please rate the following categories using a scale from 1 to 5 as follows: 1 (you are opposed to including it because it's not appropriate for this kind of database), 2 (don't think it's necessary), 3 (neutral), 4 (could be useful and is appropriate), and 5 (you really want us to include it)

Undergraduate teaching ideas/content (lab ideas, classroom activities, etc.)
Gradaute-level teaching ideas/content
General resources about general STEM pedagogy
Resources about inclusive pedagogy (e.g. anti-racist pedagogy, trauma-informed pedagogy, LGBTQ-inclusive pedagogy)
Research equipment information (e.g. how to build a flume, protocols for clearing & staining, workflow for segmenting CT scans, affordable equipment resources)
Data from researchers that can be used in the classroom
