Thank you for your interest in joining cohort 2 of the New York State Copyright First Responders! This initiative builds a community dedicated to advancing the work of libraries and cultural heritage institutions through engagement on copyright and copyright-related issues.

By participating in this training, you will become part of a state-wide group that will support one another in providing basic front-line triage for copyright questions in our home libraries and, in many cases, beyond.

For that reason, we ask you to commit to attend the 6 weeks of 2-hour training sessions (from February 6 to April 16, 9:30-11:30 am), complete the readings, and participate in class discussion. Engagement is critical to this program's success, particularly as this group will serve as the first local experts.
