MASC is flying out June 20th for pre-conference activities.  It is also more cost efficient to stay over one additional night and leave on June 24th.

Are you interested in attending the National VISION Student Leadership Conference at the end of June?  Students can only attend through a school registration or with the Maryland Association of Student Councils (MASC).

If you are interested in attending as part of the MASC delegation, Mrs. Karen Crawford, assistant executive director will be the attending advisor (Karen.Crawford@mdstudentcouncils.org).  Mr. Jesse March, MASC Middle School Advisor Consultant (former school and regional advisor) will also be attending.

See the MASC VISION website for full details on costs.  Please read and discuss this with your parents.  After registration is submitted (April 7th) you cannot get a refund.

Complete this interest form so MASC has a handle on the number of students when booking hotel rooms and checking on pre-conference activities and ground transportation.  

Note - MASC does not have any way of providing financing.  Please check with your school's principal or regional advisor for funds.  MASC will be developing some fundraising tips that you may wish to use to raise funds to attend.

I am able to share a queen sized-bed with another student *
It saves students a lot of money if MASC is able to put four-six students (same gender) in one room (this hotel has suites with six in a room) – that means sharing a queen-sized bed with another student.  MASC would work with attendees in assigning room preferences.   For this event, you are not bound by school system restrictions for rooming unless the school is helping to finance your trip.
IMPORTANT:  MASC will submit registration and payment on April 9th (the conference deadline) - after that date, you will be responsible for any financial loses to MASC (the $200 registration fee).
I have discussed this event with my parents and at this time, there are no conflicts on the calendar (family vacation, etc.).  My parents understand that they are responsible for all financial items. *
