Հայաստանի ամերիկյան համալսարանի (ՀԱՀ) Յակոբեան բնապահպանական կենտրոնը Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Բնապահպանության և ընդերքի տեսչական մարմնի հետ համատեղ <<Սևծովյան ավազանում շրջակա միջավայրի մոնիտորինգ Կոպերնիկուս համակարգի միջոցով>> ՊՈՆՏՈՍ ծրագրի շրջանակներում կազմակերպում է Հաքատոն՝  գեներացնելու նոր գաղափարներ,  օգտագործելով ՊՈՆՏՈՍ պլատֆորմը և նրա երեք բաղադրիչներն ու օնլայն ծառայությունները,  և առաջարկելու նոր օգտակար հավելվածների ստեղծում ՊՈՆՏՈՍ պլատֆորմի համար՝ օգտագործելով Կոպերնիկուս-ի տվյալները:

American University of Armenia (AUA) Acopian Center for the Environment with the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body of the Republic of Armenia (EPMIB) organizes a Hackathon in the framework of Copernicus Assisted Environmental Monitoring across the Black Sea Basin - PONTOS Project to generate new ideas using PONTOS operational platform and mounted online services/tools and suggest the creation of useful application (or stand-alone solution/tool) for the PONTOS Platform using the Copernicus data.
