"Can I Have A Word" performer registration
Use this form to enquire about performing at "Can I Have A Word" open mic nights in the Attic, Totton, Southampton.
You are welcome whether you are an old hand or brand new - we only ask that you have first read at another poetry open mic, and are ready to take this next step.
We ask you to prepare and perform your poems / spoken word pieces. It's up to you whether you read your work, or learn it by heart. But performance is an important part of the night, so please - no peering at a phone screen! 
It's OK if you fluff your lines on the night... it's all part of the learning experience. We've all been there! Build your fan-base, or your character... or both!
If you're new, prepare up to about five minutes of material, if you're experienced you may ask for up to ten minutes.
