Lanes are maxed at 6 per lane to reduce congestion. Cost per session is £5 for a half an hour swim per swimmer and £6.50 for a half an hour swim per swimmer. Swims are within the operation of our Swimschool but the lane is open to just General Adult Lane Swimming. There is always at least one lifeguard present on shift with other swim teachers and assistants holding the pool safety award to help increase safety for all users.

Payments can be made;

- via our direct debit system Go Cardless. Once your account is set up you won't need to complete this again. Payments will only be requested after your swim

- exact cash on arrival to our teacher on poolside

- card payment via on arrival to our teacher on poolside

Directions and Parking:

West Buckland School, EX32 0SX. From Barnstaple, drive towards South Molton along the link road, turn left towards West Buckland and stay on this road. About a mile after the village, the school will be on your left, parking is in the Sports Centre Car Park ONLY. 

School Map - When you enter the school grounds, drive past the front of the school and then turn left down the side of the main building, with the cricket pitches on your right. Drive over the zebra crossing, the pool is on the right but to park continue along the road to the car park next to the astro turf. Under NO circumstances must you park ANYWHERE else. The walking route from the Car Park to the pool is via the pathway that links back along the road you used to access the Sports Car Park.

Pool Entrance:

Entrance to the pool is through the top door, continue along the path and up the little incline. The top white pool door is on the right.  We do advise all swimmers to attend swim ready, with their swim shorts or costume underneath their clothes. Changing is allowed at the end of the session with exits via the changing rooms.
