The GESD (Gardner Edgerton Students of Distinction) recognition program has been established acknowledge students from across the district who have earned an outstanding achievement or demonstrated outstanding attitude, effort or participation in a school or community-based service.

Nominees can be any current student in the Gardner Edgerton School District who exemplifies traits of outstanding character and serves as a positive influence on their peers and the community-at-large.

The award will be presented on a weekly basis during the school year.
