Fish Swap Agreement

This agreement is made between HAAS KC and the participating vendors of the Fish Swap event, herein referred to as "Vendor(s)".

1. Healthy Fish, Aquatic Plants, and Corals: Vendors are requested that all fish, aquatic plants, corals, and other related items offered for sale at the swap are healthy and free from disease. Any items found to be unhealthy or diseased will be requested to be removed from sale.

2. Working Condition: Vendors agree to only sell items that are in working order. Any items with defects must be clearly denoted as such to potential buyers.

3. Compliance with Wildlife Bans: Vendors must adhere to all local and federal wildlife bans regarding the sale of fish species, aquatic plants, corals, and other related items. It is the responsibility of the vendor to ensure that the species they are selling comply with these regulations.

4. Consequences of Breach: Any vendor found to be in breach of this agreement will forfeit their right to participate in future Fish Swap events hosted by HAAS KC. 

Vendor Transaction Responsibility Agreement

Transaction Responsibility: Vendors acknowledge and agree that they are solely responsible for handling their own transactions during the Fish Swap event. This includes accepting payments from customers and providing change when necessary.

No Cash Availability: Vendors are hereby informed that the club hosting the event does not have cash on hand to provide change for transactions. Vendors must ensure they have sufficient change to conduct their sales.

No Card Processing Equipment: Vendors are further informed that the club hosting the event does not have card processing equipment available for loan. Vendors must make their own arrangements for accepting card payments, if desired.

Do you require electricity? Limited availability, please bring extension cords and power strips if you need them. The club will not be providing equipment. USB air pumps, and battery banks are a great way to supply your stock with aeration.  *
Write a short list of items you plan on bringing, this will help our buyers see what is being brought. We will share this information through our forum and social media posts. 
Share your social media links. We'll include these on our social media blasts to have a way for customers to see what you're bringing or to contact you for special requests.
