What: Digital Days for students
Who: K-12 students (At this time Pre-K regulations do not allow for digital days.)
When: To be determined
Where: Off campus digitally
Why: To allow time to better connect with Lake Town Virtual Academy students; To allow time for additional planning for both virtual and on-site students; To allow time for collaboration between faculty members regarding student progress, effectiveness of instruction/curriculum, and communication with parents; To allow time to more thoroughly clean and disinfect campus

West Side School District is soliciting your feedback regarding the feasibility of scheduling periodic "digital days" where all learning would take place digitally off campus. However, if digital days are implemented into the calendar the initial idea would be to still allow, but not require, students to be on campus if needed. Bus routes would still run and meals would still be served. If students are on campus on digital days their schedule likely would be modified from their typical daily schedule. Classes will still be held, but assignments would be sent digitally and would be able to be completed digitally.
