We are convening the English Learners Advisory Committee (ELAC) this school year. ELAC is the
advisory committee to our School Site Council (SSC) and is a comprised of English Learner parents from
the Wenzel community and staff members in the school. ELAC meets four or more times a year for a
period of one-hour each time to review English Language Development services and progress for English
Learners. The committee reviews budgets, program services, and progress of EL students and make
recommendations on the school plan for the subsequent school year. Your input and concerns are
important to the overall design of our school plan and the achievement of our students. If you are
interested, please complete the form and your response will be automatically recorded. The names of
interested parents will be placed on an election ballot through google. The parent candidates with the
highest number of votes are the elected parent representatives on our ELAC. Please send the bottom
