Tanzania chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (TCCIA) is delighted to inform and invite its members and the entire Tanzanian business community to the Trade Mission to Lubumbashi-DRC which will take place from 07th to 11th of November 2022.
DRC is the newly joined member of the East African Community; it is the largest country in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) with a population of over 108 million people. DRC is endowed with exceptional natural resources, including minerals such as cobalt and copper, hydropower potential, significant arable land, immense biodiversity, and the world’s second-largest rainforest.
The trade mission will take place in Lubumbashi which is the second largest city in DRC with over 2.8 million inhabitants. Lubumbashi is considered as the mining Congolese capital, center of the railway lines towards Ilebo, Kindu, Sakania and Kolwezi and the Congolese industrial and commercial center for textiles, food products, beverages, bricks and copper fusion. The Trade Mission will be comprised of a Trade and Investment Forum, Business to Business (B2B) Meetings and Site Visits in Agriculture, Minerals, Timber, General Trade Finance, Construction & Building materials, Real Estate, Hotel & Tourism, Textiles and Transport & Logistics.
The participation cost for this trade mission is 1,700 USD that will cater for two-way air ticket (Dar es Salaam-Lubumbashi), accommodation for 5 nights, visa, Go Pass, Lubumbashi on ground transport, and the Business/Companies Catalogue.
