Following many enquiries Springwood High School from our local community we are starting two new ensembles; a Community Concert Band (for Brass, Woodwind and Percussion players) and a Community Orchestra (Strings, Brass, Woodwind and Percussion), to rehearse one evening per week at Springwood High School.
The plan is that the minimum entry level for these will be grade 4 ABRSM (or equivalent) with no age restrictions; both youngsters and adults are welcome to come along.
At this stage we are just taking registers of interest and, from that, we will discuss the viability along with possible rehearsal days etc.
