WE RISE ABOVE NEW CHAPTER APPLICATION
Thank you for your consideration of starting a new chapter with the award-winning We Rise Above ( WRA) nonprofit organization! Prior to completing this application, please visit WRAfoundation.org to find out more about what we do in the community to see WRA aligns with your passions.

Even though you are going to be completing this application, it does not ensure that your application will automatically be approved. To ensure success of WRA chapters, we are asking you to nominate at least five officers if your application is approved. WRA is a group comittment as you are working with your school community on a very sensitive topic.

Being the Chapter President of your Chapter includes:

- Mentorship from WRA FOUNDATION BOARD
- Training sessions, leadership seminars, group leadership events, and more!
- Earn 120+ service hours throughout your 2020-2021 term as a Chapter President
- Great connections throughout the world and resources to make your mission extraordinary
- Access to limited edition WRA merch( shirts, longsleeves, jackets, sweatpants, stickers, lanyards,and more)
- Help boost your resume with leadership skills, personal experiences to help you hone in on your leadership skills and make a difference in your community to help students, friends, survivors, and yourself!
- Lead your own initiative to educate students on sexual violence and prevention, work with survivors, work with self-defense instructors, educate those around you, and creat/join a supportive community!
- Gain mentorship from university students, grad students, higher officials, congressmen/women, corporate businesses, and more!
-work with schools/universities, businesses, influencers, survivors, the public/community, and so many more!

Please note that starting a Chapter at your school or in your local community is a huge commitment. The experience is very rewarding but the application process is a competitive process with several interested prospective Chapter Presidents.

Please remember that this is a serious topic and you must be dedicated, willing, passionate, hard-working, goal-oriented and more important traits in order to run a WRA Chapter.
