Hi DES families, We are so excited for the 2023-2024 school year! There are a variety of ways to show support for our school throughout the year. The proceeds from PTO fundraising efforts allow us to provide items and services to Derynoski that the school budget may not cover or cover fully, including technology items, property maintenance, books for classrooms, bookcases, rugs, and easels. We also sponsor fun student activities, assemblies, and buses for field trips. Thank you for making Derynoski a wonderful community.

K-4 Field Day Sign up will be made available to all parents in early May.

Scholastic Book Fairs-
Volunteers are needed to assist with the Spring Book Fair will be April 15th- April 19th. In the evening on April 17th. Volunteers are also needed to help set-up. Chairperson's- Jen Oblon & Christine Mooney

Derynoski Cares Committee- The DES CARES committee is comprised of Derynoski families providing assistance to their fellow Derynoski families who may be experiencing difficult times or exceptional needs. If you are in need of assistance, please reach out to our school social worker, Ms. Lindsey Hammell at lhammell@southingtonschools.org.

A separate sign-up will go out for the DES Cares Holiday Sponsor a Child program. Co-Chairs are Katie Wade and Maria Carpentier.

Hospitality Committee- Provides items (napkins, snacks, etc.) for PTO sponsored events. You do not have to donate for all events.
