We have obviously had a turbulent year and it was nice to see students in person after so long. As I am sure most of you are aware, we are experiencing another spike in Covid-19 cases in Seattle which has led to a confluence of consequences that make it more unsafe and impractical for us to continue with the model we have had. Starting November 25th, we will be suspending in-person distribution. This decision was not arrived at easily – we feel it is the most equitable of our inequitable options to practice and encourage as much virus mitigation as possible with the understanding that students still want and need supplemental food. To that end, you will find resources below that can direct you to free food around where you live; or you can sign up for food deliveries from United Way of King County.
