Welcome back to a new school year and to the Nutley Music Boosters Association! The object of the Association is to arouse and maintain an enthusiastic interest in the various phases of the instrumental music programs of the Nutley Public School system and to lend all possible support, both moral and financial, to these music programs and student participants.

Each year the Nutley Music Boosters proudly offer scholarships to graduating students of Nutley High School. For a student to be considered for a scholarship, their parent or guardian must be a member of Music Boosters by NOVEMBER 30TH.

At the holiday season and again in the spring, instrumental groups in each of the elementary schools, Walker Middle School, and the High School entertain family and friends with annual concerts. If you have attended these musical performances, I am sure you will agree that the students expend much time and effort in presenting a most enjoyable evening.

As parents of students actively participating in the various music programs, the Music Boosters are asking for your support. We would like all parents or guardians, relatives and friends of students involved in music programs to join the Nutley Music Boosters Association by becoming members. All alumni are also welcome.

The annual dues of $15 per family shows your support and helps to offset some of the expenses incurred throughout the year. Also, if you can volunteer to help out occasionally with some of our planned events, please indicate this on the application form below. Your help is greatly appreciated.

SPECIAL NOTE Regarding Membership Fee for Families with Students in the Music Program: Paid membership for the current academic year is due by  November 30th of said year. On December 1st of said year,  for any student who hasn’t paid his membership and has credits in his account , the NMBA  will deduct the membership fee automatically to ensure the continuation of membership benefits.
 
SENIORS: Families must be members of the Nutley Music Booster Association  by November 30th of student’s senior year in order to eligible for scholar ships.  Please note that auto deduction of dues DOES NOT APPLY to senior students.
