Philosophy

I believe that anyone regardless of age, background, goals, ability, and style preference can play the piano with artistry. I abide by the motto of pedagogue Frances Clark, “There is music in everyone. It is the teacher’s job to find it and nurture it.” 

Enrollment 

Enrollment is for a block of four reserved group lesson times, arranged with the instructor. Lessons are 55 minutes long. Tuition payment and signed policy must be received in order to reserve a spot in group class. 

Tuition - $160. 

Tuition - $40 per group lesson. $160.00 due at enrollment. 

By enrolling, you agree to pay the full tuition amount, no exceptions. Tuition payment must be received in advance of instruction.

Missed Lessons

There are no makeups and no refunds for missed group lessons.


Missed lessons caused by the instructor’s absence will be rescheduled.

Performances

Your music is meant for SHARING!  Performing at FCMTA Community Recitals, the Harkins Piano Studio Recitals, and community Open Mic Nights will be strongly encouraged.  

Student Media Consent and Release

Students may be recorded and/or photographed and may be featured on the Student Corner of the studio website, recital livestreams, and the studio social media pages.  Content will never be shared or posted in any other manner without obtaining further written permission.
