Based on the theme of "Transition" we are seeking people interested in leading workshops during the convergence! We know that the topics and formats of these workshops will be varied, and are open to any ideas that you feel are relevant to the theme.

We expect workshop leaders to be prepared with goals and an overall outline for their workshop; however, leaders have the freedom to create their own definition of what makes up a "workshop" (i.e. taking a nature walk, giving a formalized presentation, facilitating a conversation, doing an art project).

Workshops will be an hour to an hour and a half. These workshops will be taking place on the farm in various spaces including a greenhouse, a pavilion, outside (weather permitting!), in the field, etc. This means that we won't have the ability to project a powerpoint presentation, though you can bring your computer if you have documents that don't require wifi. Workshop group sizes will be determined at the convergence, so you may have anywhere between 5 and 30 participants. You have the option to cap your workshop at any size.

We are also hoping to organize panel discussions. If you would prefer speaking in that format over leading your own workshop, let us know below!

The QFC is run on a gift economy. Your workshop will be seen as a gift to the QFC, and the QFC will be sure to pass gifts to you as well. If there is some type of compensation that is important for you to be able to sustainably give your gift, please let us know.

Accountability is an essential part of making this convergence work! Once confirmed, workshop leaders are committing to attend this event and follow through with their workshop.
