The DSAGC will be hosting two workshops for parents in the next coming weeks. During these workshops, the parents are offered to bring their children if they need it. We are seeking 2 volunteers each day to support their children during these workshops. You will be responsible for supervising child's general safety, play with them, engage in simple activities (provided by the DSAGC), and help them enjoy their time while parents are in their training next door. This opportunity to have childcare, will greatly impact the parent's ability to participate in these workshops.
Sunday April 28: 3:30-5:30pm Veterans Park 2136 Central Ave Charlotte, NC 28205
Wednesday May 1: 6pm-7pm 224 Westinghouse Boulevard Suite #608 Charlotte, NC 28273
Responsibilities: playing with children, supervising safety, assisting with bathroom or diaper changes (if not comfortable, parents can take care of this), helping with snacks/water, keep kids engaged.
Age 16+. Program Director will verify community service hours if needed for school.
