Family Adventure Day
Sorry, it is too late to preregister for Family Adventure Day but you still register at the event beginning at 8:45am on Saturday, May 20.

Things to know if you come:
Arrival and Registration Information

Park in the large upper paved parking lot.

Upon arrival to the event go to the Picnic Pavilion to check-in and choose your time-slot for archery.

Ages 6 & up only. Due to safety concerns with each of the activities, we cannot allow any children younger than 6 to participate. No exceptions, no younger sibling tag-alongs. Each child between the ages of 6 to 15 must have direct adult supervision during the entire event.

What to Expect

Families will rotate through three activities including archery, fishing, and canoeing. For more efficient instruction, you will have an assigned time for archery, otherwise you may fish and canoe at your leisure.

Each station will have staff and volunteers assisting with gear, providing instruction, andor standing by to assist visitors.

Families are welcome to take breaks as needed and bring a picnic to enjoy this leisurely day in the park. Richard Fleming Park also features a playground and restrooms.

What to Bring

All gear is provided but if you have your own fishing poles andor life jackets you are encouraged to bring them, but weundefinedll have plenty for those that do not. We ask that you NOT bring any archery equipment, for the ease of instruction we prefer to use ours.

Please note there are no vending services at the park or nearby, bring all the food and drink with you that you’ll need for the day.
