Padlet, Zoom, and YouTube accounts
Padlet is the method of record keeping and communication used by DTD for this training. All participants are required to open a Padlet account and be able to access both Zoom and Padlet simultaneously (one or multiple devices i.e. tablet and phone; laptop both).
We will use Padlet for collecting questions and posting answers; posting resources by participants, assistants, or myself. Padlets keep videos, photos, URLs, pdfs, like a bunch of online sticky notes in one place that the whole group can access..
If you need to send multiple videos of comfort measures you would post them all to your Padlet page and share them with me and your assistant.
We also have started a shared padlet page. The URL is in your Preparation Checklist.
Zoom will be used for streaming during the training. You will need to use the App, as using your browser typically doesn't allow enough signal for streaming.
YouTube is the backup method of watching videos if Zoom screensharing doesn't work for some reason.
